The Science Behind Coal Anti-Caking: How Green Coal Works

Winter transportation of coal and ore materials poses a serious challenge for logistics. At sub-zero temperatures, wet concentrate turns into a monolithic mass, the unloading of which requires special equipment, vibration, or even explosives, damaging railcars and delaying rolling stock turnover.

The Chemistry of the Process

Green Coal reagent, by its chemical nature, is a hydrocarbon compound, making it fully compatible with coal and having no negative impact on coking processes. Unlike chlorides (which cause corrosion), our reagent works on the principle of surface modification. The polar components of the composition adsorb onto the surface of coal particles and ice crystals, creating a thin hydrophobic layer. This layer prevents the intergrowth of ice crystals into a solid structure. Thanks to unique depressant additives, the reagent remains liquid and effective even at extremely low temperatures down to -45 °C

Business Advantages

Using Green Coal guarantees the flowability of coal with high moisture content (W >11%). This means your railcars will unload quickly, without damage or downtime. We are ready to supply our products anywhere in the world, ensuring the stability of your logistics.

Looking Ahead

The global specialty chemicals market is growing, and the demand for effective cold-climate solutions is increasing every year . Our production is ready to scale up to meet this demand. We are also open to dialogue with investors interested in developing high-tech chemical manufacturing.
